Simply scan your paper records and they are instantly digitally encrypted and transmitted to the SCAN 2US Web Center (SWC) through a secure Internet connection. The SCAN 2US unique software allows anything that can be printed on your PC to be automatically converted to a print image and stored in your electronic cabinet at the SWC, thus eliminating the need to print and scan the paper. These page images are then available 24/7 for viewing, printing, faxing or emailing. Recall is almost instantly as all the files are stored on hard disk and not on CD's, tapes or other jukebox systems. As soon as you have made your selection the images are streamed to your viewing screen.

The page images are available 22 hours a day (2 hours daily for system maintenance), seven days a week, using a standard browser. Just logon to the SCAN 2US website and select your search criteria. From the search results, select the patient document you wish to retrieve. . Your screen immediately receives the first page and thumbnails of the remaining pages of the document. Once retrieved, you can view the document, print it, or e-mail it. You can easily flip from one page to another within the document. Audit logs are maintained to provide the required detail statistics as to "who, what, when" associated with the specific retrievals.
